whoa whoa whoa....what? you're talking about the downpipe right? from the exhaust man. to the exhaust itself? ive had to have 2 replaced because they keep breaking, and it IS in fact covered under warranty. don't let them bullshit you...

i took it in cause the exhaust was pinging at an idle, like somebody banging a quarter of of it. they say the pipe has a crack in it under that spring looking thing just after the manifold, isn't that part of the cat?

lol no...thats the flexpipe...that's what kept breaking on mine. the cat is that big thing just past it. but if your car is under warranty and the exhaust is all still stock, then they HAVE to fix it. I'm serious...don't get screwed. go to another dealer if you have to...

That is a warranty repair. Try your best with the dealer...... again.
If you're brushed-off, contact GM Canada and make a stink about it........in a profesional manner.
Dealerships don't like having GM breathing down their necks.........they avoid it at all costs.

my flex pipe broke and they replaced it under warranty, a 2 weeks later I put a CA 3" header and downpipe on. Had the replace the pipe including cat from just after the header to just after the cat. Brought it to them 3 times because it was intermediate. Never threw a code

also $1300!!! u could do it for less than $500(estimate) buying all the parts from the dealer and installing it urself but it is under warranty
