I was wondering if someone could whip up a quick design for a business card for this website, i drive by soo many parked ss/sc's and jsut cobalts in general. i want to place them on there car so they can come and sign up. now i hate jsut going to soemones car and lifting the wiper blade to put it under it. i dont like people doing it to mine. but anywayz i was wondering if someone could do this for me?

Make the slogan like Love Performence? Drive A Cobalt? Come visit us at Cobaltss.net THe largest Cobalt community. We Have Meets, track days, and the most useful info you will ever find.

Or like you've been spotted by MkUlrey13, A Cobaltss.net Member. Come check us out as were the largest cobalt community around.

I love the idea. Even if someone doesn't become a member after seeing the business card, they will at least come check it out and maybe then become a member.

 

That's a great idea. Like CTCOBALTSS said, it would at least cause enough interest for people to check the site out and this is definitely a car site that presents really well and has something for everyone so it could generate even more interest in the site.

 

im in the process fof DL adobe so i can make them once i can install the program. i was just seeing if anyone could whip one up for me since im leaving in 30 mins. if not i will be designing some which i can share after.

 

Hell just go to vistaprints or over night prints to do it. thats actually where I get mine from.

 

That's a cool idea. The guys on one of the SRT forums have really nice ones made up

 

take the top banner at the top of all the pages, squish down the empty space in the middle, and have the site nae again in plain text...then maybe a 1 line description

 

I have adobe cs2, but i dont have the motivation to make it...

 

JonyyB alread has card for the site. you can DL then and print them out. then pass them out to fellow 'bolt owners

Yeah. Jonel made those a few months ago. They look nice. Just be sure to set them to print at 100% size. For some reason my computer scales them down a little and they end up a little small. I have printed them and placed them on my car for car shows and placed them on a few parked cars I have come across.

wow, the artist of this needs to be schooled...in graphic design. if you wanna do this right, pool some money together and ask a designer, the other professional on this thread and I can help you guys out.

 

I think the site should use some of its money to have an actual design made and then the file could be made available to all members so we could print them on our own and distribute them. Economically it'd be good for CSS.net to do so... let's say 500 members put these cards under the blades of other owner's cars and 350 of them check out the site. Then say 200 sign up as members. Out of that 200 say 20 of them buy decals and 20 become premium numbers. That model is not precise but I'd say that's somewhat accurate. CSS could make money off a formal business card.

Those are a good start, I'm thinking something like this.

Take the top banner from the site and bring the Cobalt all the way over the the left so its right next to "COBALTSS.NET"

Then below it have it say in pretty simple text something like... "You're Cobalt been spotted by a member of CobaltSS.net! Check out the site to learn more about your car and about local Cobalt events in your area!"

Basically it'd look alot like the cards you've already made, except I think the graphics on the site are better looking then the ones int he .pdf file.
