Did GM make a mistake?

I got my 2005 Cobalt LS Saturday, but I think GM has made a mistake? On the invoice, it says it's an LS w/1SB sport package. It also says LS on the trunk. Is this the LT? It's a 4 dr. sedan, btw. Let me list my options on why I think it's an LT:

Body colored sport mirrors
White faced sport guages
Leather wrapped steering wheel & shifter lever
Sport fascia w/Fog lamps
Rear spoiler
16" Aluminum rims
P205 55R16 Pirelli P6 sport tires
4 speed auto w/overdrive
XM satellite radio
MP3 player with brushed metal front face plate
Chrome exhaust tip
Pioneer premium 7 speaker sound system (subwoofer IS in the trunk)

I have been reading up, and as far as I know, all these are on the LT, the only standard equipment I DONT have that the LT has, is heated seats? ( I could be wrong)

yeah, yeah, go ahead and rib me for a 4 door, but my grandmother refused to help me buy out my lease if I got a 2 door. I really wanted the SS, but...gotta please the credit dept LOL.

I am not into the "Need for speed" styling as some are, but I do plan on getting the Eibach lowering sport spring kit, and the Injen intake. It needs a little more pep to pull out in front of traffic. Does anyone know how to turn off this dadgum traction control!?!? I know I can do it by downshifting into 1st, but I want it off ALL the time. It has more takeoff. Getting the windows tinted TOMORROW!

Thanks,

Shamrock

P.S. I am glad to see that GM can also get into the tuner scene as well as the imports!

It's gray, but it has like a sparkly metal like material in it, if you mean the grill ribs.

well this is easy---you said you are listing OPTIONS (key word) I think most if not all of these things are standard equipment on the LT. And options on the LS.

Visually the grill is different on the LT as mentioned--and you get chrome door handles.
You have an LS. With the optional sports package---same rims as come standard on the LT.

you have an ls with a lot of **** on it. for trac controle, just pull the e brake up one click. make sure your brakes dont rub though, and the idiot chime will sound when you put your foot on the gas. in my cavy (98), it doesnt chime, just the e brake light and "trc off" apears.that chime will get annoying quickly. I dont know how to permenitly take it off.

Sounds basically identical to everything I have on my loaded LS...mine doesn't have XM (might be a Candian model thing) and I've got the heated leather seats. Other than that the options sound identical. Pretty much you have the sports package with the stereo upgrade and the tire/rim upgrade if I'm not mistaken (sorry I'm not sure what all this 1SB/2SB stuff means) and your tires are different...mine shipped with Michelin MXV4s. Also, in the LT I believe your floor mats would be embroidered with LT...but correct me on this if I am wrong.

the 1sb package is the sport model, the white face gauges give it away... the LT model has chrome moldings and door handles, and woodgrain on the dash... theres also a 1sy package which includes all the sport stuff, but with the standard 15" wheels... either way, u have a 1sb which is an LS sport...

2005 base = 2006 ls
a 2005 ls = 2006 lt
2005 lt= 2006 ltz

thats where it gets confusing

chevy changed the trim level designations for 2006.

kool, thanks guys, just wanted clarification.

BTW, my Sedan looks ALOT better with 5% tint all around The guy who tinted it, was REALLY impressed with the Pioneer stereo, showing everyone he came across. We even had people pointing and saying "Hey man, it's a cobalt!!!"

I was like daaaaaannnngggg.
