Different tachometer set

Is there anyway to rig a different tachometer on to the cobalt dash? I'm not talking about aftermarket monster tachs. If anyone is familiar with the early 1990 5.0 mustang tachs, you know what i'm talking about. Might there be a way to rig one of those in the dash, look half decent if not better, and would it already be calibrated for use? My favorite tach is a 7,000 RPM tach used in the older 5.0 mustangs. The yellow line would help keep me in check, and the redline of 5800 would be accurate since the cobalt s/c maxes power at 5600. I just don't like 8,000 rpm tachs.

actually on real dynoes the car makes power right to fuel cut, however our stock tachs are slow, 1st gear u gotta shift at 6100 on the tach and 2nd gear like 6350 or else youll hit fuel cut
