does anyone hear this?

after you turn the car off and sit in it without it running there sounds like there a little fan or something running behind the dash near the radio. does the radio have a fan in it to cool it? the sound will turn off when i open the door. anyone know what im talking about?

The radio still has power if the car is off and the drivers door hasn't been opened. Even with the volume turned all the way down you'll get some hiss through the speakers.

Maybe this is what you are hearing?

no i can hear the speakers when the volume is off then if you turn the radio off they stop. but you can still hear what sounds like a little fan running in the dash somewheres. then you open the drivers door and it turns off. but it sounds like a little fan kinda like a computer fan but alittle smaller

thats your wiper oil cooling fan. it blows against the little radiator in the dash. Keeps your wipers running smooth.

thats the selanoid on your self leveling johnson rod activating. Its a self test to make sure its functioning properly.

hondas have that too but its more of a cluck instead of a click.

I think you are mistaken as to what a resonator is. A resonator is part of your air filter assembly, its just a plastic box that helps dissipate noise. Thats why when you put CAI or a short ram on your car its a lot louder.

You're probably just hearing a system that is still powered as a result of the Retained-Accesory-Power. Open your door and get out.

He's not mistaken. there is a resonator for most air intakes. But, there is also a resonator that is part of our exhaust. See pic below for what he's talking about.

The noise you hear is the fresh air fan. The fan runs constantly, even with the heat/ac turned off. When you open the door the power to it shuts off.
