I have a 2.4 G5 GT with the auto. I'm averaging round 23-24mpg mixed city/highway. Granted, I do have a heavy foot when it comes to merging with traffic and passing on the highway [not that I floor it every single time].

there is no "right". everyone will get something different depending on driving habits and conditions.

 

Hate to say it but that's about what I get. I do a little more highway than in town (though my highway miles are on twisty roads) and I'm getting about 25mpg with a stock 2.4 auto. I can get around 30 on the highway but it seems like these things really guzzle gas when you stomp the gas or run any kind of RMP.

 

I'm running about 29-30 mixed with a 2.2 5speed. But I've actually got a fairly light foot and a tendency to short-shift (probably left over from my time with a torquey VW DI2.0T).

 

That's what I get. I do a lot of mixed highway/city as well as excessive acceleration while driving to fire calls

 

It says that I get 20.1MPG but I don't think thats right.
