So, ever since buying my SS/SC the dome light has been annoying. It rattles. I've had to throw two new bulbs in to it. The entire inside is electrical taped because the tiny little metal connectors are useless and the bulb popped off with the tiniest jerk. It only works half the time because of said tape.

Well, the tape needed re-doing AGAIN tonight and I managed to break a couple of the little clips that hold the lid on. I taped the whole damn thing to the roof to keep it there for now but I really want to just replace the fixture with an LED one or something. Does anyone know what the best process is for doing this, and where I could buy one that won't break the bank? I know I've seen them around ebay but of course I can't seem to find one now that I'm set on buying it.

WTH.. Mine rattles too.. and i tried opening and i broke one of the four little "hooks" so i was planning on buying another dome light socket.. but are those for sale?

 

I'd like to know this too, mine hasn't worked since I've had the car, I've replaced bulbs and fuses and still nothing, I'm pretty sure I need a new dome light, cause at this point it's just getting annoying
