Don't know where to go from here!!!

Long story short I haven't posted on this site for years but this past weekend I pulled the motor out of my car because it caught on fire back in 2013. The flex pipe cracked and the rest is history. I don't really know where to go from here, the motor would need to be completely rebuilt as it has not run for 4 years. I've always had dreams of swapping the supercharger for a turbo on my LSJ. I've looked up complete engine rebuild kits for the LSJ and they are fairly priced. I don't know what would be needed to turbo an LSJ and if that's the route I take would it be worth wasting money on a generic LSJ rebuild kit. Any help would be greatly appreciated, or if anyone cant point me in the right direction. Like I said haven't been on here in years. Here are some pics of my car.

I would contact Crate Engine Depot. They are awesome to work with and have the best inventory and prices for something like that around. Aside from that you could ship the block to ZZP to get built if you didnt want to tackle yourself with option A. Best of luck

Why does it need to be rebuilt just because it sat?

That would be an ok donor for that goblin kit car. Take a camera and check the bores for rust, if no rust put some oil in the bores. wait a day or so and see if it spins. I would definitely try to run it without a rebuild, engine bay looks fine.
