Door Emblems.. Under SS?
Thingy below the SS
If it follows the Monte Carlo, like it has been in everything else, it would be the word "Supercharged."
Keep in mind a couple of things, current model line up is a Base, LS, LT and soon there will be a SS Supercharged.
Next year, there will be an SS (available in both Coupe and Sedan) that has the 2.4 Ecotec 4cyl with both the auto and 5-speed.
That will make it so there's an SS and SS Supercharged, very confusing IMHO.
They did the same thing for the Monte's in 2004, (LS, SS, SS Supercharged) designating the engine differences.

They claim they cannot keep up with demand on coupe orders.
Maybe Banshee1016 can comment on this, he works at the plant.

Order mine in October. All of the dealers will not be able to tell anyone when the their car is going to be made until the factory pulls the orders. Every dealer gets a weekly "build/ship" list and they can see if an order has been pulled to be built (typically when pulled the car will be built within 2 weeks) and/or release to shipping (once released the car should ship within 2 weeks, depending on demand from one given location or distribution point) As for being the first to order a SS from a dealer that does not really mean anything, other than the first to place an order for the car from them. I don't know the total number of chevy dealers, but I'm willing to bet 90% of the people in these forum that ordered a SS are the first one to order onr from their dealer.
Ok 1 more question for those who put down a deposit. When I put down a deposit on my former saturn in 2001 they just took my check and held it and returned it when i bought the car.
When you guys put your deposit on your cobalt SS did they actually take the money out of your account or did they hold it. I plan on putting at least 700$ down. But I cant really afford to have the money taken out right now (just incase something pops up). They want a 500$ deposit here in Indy also.
