Driver Side Door Squeak
Tried the search but no go... anyway my girlfriends friend has a 2006 LT and the driver side door squeaks terribly when opened slowly. Tried some oil and that didn't work. Any of you guys have any input on how to solve this as it's no longer covered under warranty?!

use some good white silicone spray on the hinges....or it could possible be the door check that is squeaking. That's the black rod that is bolted to the body of the car and runs to the inside of the door.
I think it's held on by a 10mm bolt to the body of the car....you could try un-bolting that, and see if the noise goes away.
