Dyno'd the Cobalt again today JUST for you guys! We dyno'd a stage2 gm kit and my car on the same dyno back to back!! I'll let that owner post the intersting results on his car.

YES, it goes to 7K in 3rd! I'm jealous and eating crow!!! He gained 8HP from 6500 to 7000 so that makes me feel good about my assumptions!

I hit 277HP myself!!

SO!!!!!!

That is 3, THREE, again 3 different dyno's that have gave me 273, 276, and 277HP. So much for inaccurate dynojets and operators

 

All I have to say is DAMN! Nice numbers once again. What were your new torque numbers?

 

Thanks! I hit 253TQ but the story is how flat it was, Over 245 from 3K to 6K

 

Holy sheet! I wish my car had that torque. We'll see how it goes with the Stage 2 kit I have coming with the 2.8" pulley I have to put on, then I may weasel my way down to the 2.6" you're running. Great Numbers.

 

On a side note, his stage 2 kit w/CAI did some good numbers as well. I was off by less than 1 hp on my prediction of 250hp

It was a little frustrating and a learning deal for me as well. Watching him hit 7k made me jealous


But, when we compared the 6500 rpm numbers, i had over 35HP on him


Add the gain he got going to 7K to my numbers and that puts me at 285!!!

 

I bet you'll achieve 300whp soon ...

Yeah I think the guy that dynoed mine said he hit 230km/h in fourth. He was amazed! I only did 222 on a mustang dyno tho (jealous) haha. Anyways congratulations!
