Econ Mpg??? How much do you get?

i have a 2.2 auto with a aftermarket muffler and home made intake. My question is how many mpg should i get? When I drove carless i was getting 22mpg city and highway. Ever since i started using cruise i worked my way up to 29mpg and i can reeally see a diff in gas! My question is tho will a intake cause me to loose more mpg ??? and is always eunning cruise bad i am kinda getting obssesed using it even on a 40mph road tosave gas

I average about 29 Mpg. Just make sure you go like 65 on the freeway and set the cruise control and you'll be 30+

I get about 24-25 on a regular basis in my SS/SC. That's with 60% city and 40% highway I would say. The lowest I get on it is about 22 if I am really getting on it most of the time.
The best I've gotten is about 31 on a road trip (all highway obviously).

BTW cruise control improves gas mileage.

Generally get between 27 and 28mpg. One time I managed to get 38 on a trip to Georgia. I was doing 70, behind a semi-truck. Great way to save on gas

On the highway I never get less than 32mpg. Last trip going out I got 33mpg going 80mph, and coming back I got 38 going 65mph. When I'm home and just buzzing around town I usually hang around 26-27mpg.

I've had my 05 SS/SC for a week now and I am averaging 29/30 with mine. That is about 60/40 Highway to City.
