Eibach lowering springs
Eibach lowering springs
Hey everyone, I was looking to lower my car and eibach sportline springs seem to be my top choice. I'm just worried that additional modifications will have to made in order for them to fit/work well; shocks, struts etc. Has anyone used these and had issues like that? Thanks!
Dont take it serious man, we got some ******** on here. But there decent springs, alot more people go with CM springs though, due to they ride good, and give you a decent drop. You shouldnt have to do any modifications, to make them work. Just the stock shocks may go out after a while due to being lowered.
here is a thread to look at. https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/susp...prings-207943/

I guess I should have answered the question in your other thread instead of telling you it was in the wrong section. Would have saved you from getting punched in the face.
How many times are you going to be told CM and SSC are NOT the same spring, at all, before it clicks?
I was never told. Are you a retard? If i was told i wouldn't have said they MIGHT be the same. I never said that they are the same thing, i said IVE HEARD they might be. When i was lowering my car, everyone told me to go with CM or SSC, then they told me that they are the same springs, just CM are cheaper. . Did you ever think maybe i didn't see the thread that finally said they ARE NOT the same ?
I's been 20 years that I mod cars, I've modded about 10 cars between here and Italy, and I can tell you, as far as handling, the best combo is Koni/Eibach. Everything else I've tried it wasn't as good as that
By any chance would you know how different is the ride between SSC or CM vs YYZ v2? Which one have a better ride quality?
if you are going to a drop and looks, dont waste your time with the prokit.. it barely drops. Sportlines have a nice drop. and to answer your question, you don;t have to change anything else out, just the springs. I ran sportlines on my 07 ss/sc for 50k miles with the stock struts + shocks.
You will have to change them out sooner though, i think my struts were getting a bit tired after that many miles. Still rode fine though.
