i have a 2.2 not an lsj but would it be possible to take a head from another ion or cobalt and use that and should i stick with the 2.2 head or go to somethin else? if somethin else would it fit... sorry its a noob question just theres a lot of 2.2's in local jy's and i could pull one fairly cheap just need to knoww hat to look for, it would be getting ported n polished. or should i just buy like a patriot head or soemthing of the like?

 

get a port/polish, stronger valvetrain, and stage2 comp cams i guess(not fimiliar with 2.2s) and i'ld say you'll be fine. what are you looking to do with the car?
