How hard is it to pull a LNf out any tips and tricks

Most likely it would be easier to get a lift, unbolt the cradle, and take the body off the cradle instead of the motor out of the car.

not sure about the lnf but lsj was designed to drop from the bottom. I would imagine it to be kinda the same.

Having replaced both an LSJ in a Cobalt SS and a 2.2 in an Ion, I can say that they're much easier to drop out of the bottom. There just isn't alot of wiggle room in the engine bay.

Thanks how hard is it to drop it out the bottom haven't really looked at it I have a lift and everything sooo

Engine hoist/crane or tranny jack if you have a lift or even if you don't. Very easy to drop. I was able to drop mine by myself and slide the entire subframe out. I had help putting the subframe/engine back in though. I would recommend help to watch for you to get the bolt holes lined up for the mounting locations on the sub frame. With airtools, I had the subframe back in the car in less than a half hour.
