Engine Internals
There is a guy currently building a 2.2 LAP (same engine I have so I've been following it), I'm going to put on a turbo kit before building the engine though, buying one for a great price although I need to rebuild the EFR it comes with.
Here is the build thread I mentioned.

You don't need a crankshaft... lol, can't believe someone said that

You need to think about what your power goals are and how much you're willing to spend. If you're going to just do bolt-ons the stock interals will be fine, if you're going to go supercharged depending on pulley size stock internals will be ok, same with a turbo depends on the air it moves and how much you want to push it. Either forced induction route will net you some significant downtime and tuning issues, if its your DD and you have to work 5days a week I wouldn't recommend it
well I don't really know how much power could come about with building the internals. so I'm trying to find information about everything so I could learn. I'll probably be having a friend helping with me along with everything too. I eventually want to put a turbo on it but have a strong engine as well if you get what I mean
and I'm trying to save up and by by he parts slowly until im ready for everything

Turbo it better for max power but you'll most likely blow the trans with either eventually since it's an auto. You'll have to invest in a built trans at some point, zzp sells them.

Turbo'ing or supercharging the car can be done, but its going to take a lot of work, blood, sweat, and probably a few tears, or just a big pile of money
Don't. Waste of time and money, especially since it sounds like you really don't know what your looking for, or what you are doing. If you really want more power, buy a faster car.
Not trying to be a dick, just being honest with you.
