If you want to try and keep the rasp away and keep it quiet, I recommend keeping a cat on the car, and getting as big of a resonator under there as possible(don't get a cherry bomb though, those just blow out lol)
The plan is to keep the cat. I just plan to go with the ZZP Longtube Header/Downpipe combo. The 2.5 downpipe w/cat and the a catback exhaust. Just undecided on which to get.

And I guess by sound better, I meant sound similar to the Corsa. And I found the Sport on eBay, and the seller did say they have it, but for the 2.2/2.4 and I don't know if that would fit my car.

Got a soundclip of it? And are you running a header/downpipe combo? Or just stock?

Full ZZP.

1.75" header, 2.5" downpipe, 2.5" catback. Catted for now.

Ill get a sound clip ASAP. Mines burnt in extra from a track weekend (super hot temps)

Nice. I plan to get the ZZP Longtube Header with their 2.5" downpipe, the exhaust is the only thing I'm undecided on. I like the sound of the GMPP Sport, but IIRC thats 2.25" piping.

And I look foward to the sound clip.

2.25" is better the the 2.06" that the factory resonator inlet bottle necks down to.
2.25" still flows plenty for the majority of sc cars on the site.

long ago, i went to a 3" dp and just went to a 3" resonator to fix that...definitely overkill lol

but now because of the resonator, i took my 3" flange off my 3" dp and put it on the stock dp to bolt up still...and my long tube is also 3" so now if i can find a 2.5" cat back ill either have to change it all over, or just try to change the cat back over and keep the 3" and let it step down...

Nice. So maybe I'll go with the GMPP Sport Exhaust. And with the longtube headers and 2.5" downpipe, it should sound good?

As long as you stay away from 3inch exhaust, use a reso (biggest one you can find that will fit), and preferably keep the cat (i dont have one anymore) and use a nice big turbo style muffler...it should sound less like a civic.

Also LNF muffler is a straight through. SC is reverse flow. John Powell cut a LNF muffler a couple of years back for a looksee. (I still have the image somewhere.)

I want to quiet it down

I have a 06 cobalt SS supercharged with a ZZP header and 2" pipes it sounds like a loud air plane at higher speed what exhaust muffler would quiet it down with a deeper rumble. Thanks Mike
