Has anyone ever run their SS/SC just off the downpipe? Any sound clips. . .what are the disadvantages. I'm just wondering.

I'm also looking for a good cat-back system, the most throaty, lmk if you have one

i ran it open dp for the hell of it once pulling onto the ramps. never, ever, again.

 

upside, no backpressure, downside, blown ear drums and people pointing and laughing at your obniouxsly horrifyingly loud and worse sounding car they ever heard in there entire life

 

I ran open DP with the JBP header... Beasty as **** but TOO LOUD!!!

 

if you do do it...do it at the track where no one will care. but it'll still be really ******* loud.

 

Dosent it lose back pressure. . . which is bad?

 

its the same as a cutout ..and people are still picking up power with those.

I was gonna just try it out for ***** and giggles, but I dont want it to burn the valves cause there's no back pressure.

 

off the dp, loud as **** and no low end power.

i had the bolts between my catback and zzp header and dp fall off so i ran it open dp for a few days, it was really fukin loud, your back hurt cause your seat rumbled and it scared the **** outa everyone, i kinda liked it though.

 

i would be embarrased
