Exhaust Question!
Hey everybody,
So recently i was pulled over for window tint and loud exhaust and i bought it from a dealership like that and they failed to tell me that either of its illegal so i went there to tell them to pay for the ticket and fix my car so its legal. And they said they would pay for the tint.
On the other hand they said that the exhaust looks stock to them. I dont really want to take their word for it due to the fact that i got it from a Kia Dealership. Anyways the muffler itself says MagnaFlow and i just dont see that being stock. Does anybody know if the stock exhaust on a 2006 Cobalt ss/sc has a MagnaFlow muffler? Let me know! Thank you!

Thats def aftermarket. Stock muffler looks like a huge lunch box. If you looking for quiet a nice chambered muffler will do you good. Dynomax for example. I believe the stock muffler is made by walker.

Yea, this is the 3rd time for tint and and first time for exhaust. im just sick of cops looking for a reason to pull me over. Its never something like speeding or rolling through a stop sign. Its been tint, exhaust, air freshener hanging from a mirror or a headlight out. im sick of it. lol

I have a 2006 SS/sc with a magnaflow exhaust. It sure is LOUD driving downtown with buildings on either side of the road. I haven't been heckled with because of race car. Probably because they rather pull over the beat up del sols or acuras

I dont know if thats all you have done to it but i only have the MagnaFlow and the rest is stock and my car isnt even that loud. If i hammer on it, yea sure it is but i was just taking off going no higher than 2500 rpms.
