congrats on the new car...

hate when people whine about "oh noez rwd is betta den fwd"... each serves it's purpose and has it's own pros and cons, there is no necessarily BETTER unless you know how to properly drive either one

Yea, I debated on the rims. But in person, the rims go well with the car. I guess I should have gotten a close up on the rim.

Gratz on the purchase! Those cars are gonna be a beast soon...

I really want one as well and was planning to get one next year...then I got the cobalt and grew addicted to boost... so I'ma hold out and wait for a STi/TRD version, even tho I can just go aftermarket, I wouldn't want to completely destroy my warranty on a brand new car either

From what I've read, Subaru/Toyota will never sell this as a turbo. You will have to go aftermarket for one.

On a side note, looks like the dealer gave it a nice detail. And to whomever buys the car... you might want to drop me a line first

the STI/TRD version will only be 'lighter' and have CF stuff on it. They wont be adding a turbo version.

I know I know just holding out hope

If I don't see at least a factory option for a turbo I prob won't be buying the car... Just too addicted to boost in a stock car, and not really into destroying my warranty with a mod as big as that.

And it's been done already through aftermarket, kinda hoping that the demand will make toyota/subaru reconsider

Nice BRZ! I'd love to get in one of those one of these days.

What exactly was going on with your SS/SC and how many miles?

It's an SS/TC and I want to say that the issues with the vehicle probably had to do with the GMS1 because that's when things started going South. Randon CEL and the turbo not spooling right all the time. It would come and go and the service department failed to fix it correctly. Been having that issue since last summer, Summer 2011, where they went as far as even replacing the turbo at 21,000 miles.
