Few questions

I have finally decided that I am definetley buying an SS/SC. I have a few questions first off I am buying in the first few weeks of Feb. and I wanted to know if you have to put a down payment on a new car and also if I ordered one (G85!!) how long should I expect to wait for it. I wanna know about the down payment because I have a $1000 right now and unless my car sells before I buy thats all im gonna use so does it matter how much if any??? Also have any of you guys raced stock srt-4's and won. I just wanna know because my other choice was an srt-4 and I wanna know how they compare. Thanks

In a straight line, the SRT-4 is faster with equal drivers stock for stock. I don't know how long the wait is, but you should really enjoy the car. Especially since the Stage kits are factory backed unlike the SRT-4.

We will have to wait and see. I have a feeling the Intense kit will be a bit stronger, but not as tuneable, or as safe on the engine. If you haven't seen them already, take a look at the A/F readings on the cars dynoed with the Intense kit, they are a little lean for safe engine performance in the high rpm range.

What do you think that car with the intense kit runs in a quarter mile?? With a 2.8 pulley with the GM kits can we pretty much see the same results? Also do your cars get alot of looks I havent seen one SS on the streets yet.

I don't know of any one doing a run yet with the Intense kit. I would assume they should be close after the 2.8 pulley swap.

It depends on the people. If you haven't seen any in you area and no one else has either, then you should get some looks. Now that they are more known, I don't really have anyone rev at me. ( they all did that when I was still in the break in period)
