my friend just got a sc. he was wondering what they boost stock. also he says he cant rev it past 4500 or it cuts out. we were kind of thinking there was a rev limiter or governor on it. thanks

Not sure about the boost, but it sounds like there's either a vacuum leak or it's in limp mode. The SC should just be hitting the prime spot in the power band at 4500. Get that sumbitch checked out.

Not sure. I'm just throwing ideas out. You may be able to unhook the battery, but wait for other responses. There are more knowledgeble people on here than me.

For a supercharged you should be running between 10 and 12 pounds stock. 6500 is the default redline, so if your not getting there, somethings not right.

now he says he has a CEL for an inefficient catalyst and something with bank one. so we're guessing maybe one of the O2 sensors. that may explain if it was in fact in limp mode. he's going to take it to the dealer he bought it from so they can fix it, so i guess we'll see whats goin on with it
