a few questions?

first thing i want to buy is exhaust. Just wondering does it hurt to go with 3inch even tho its all stock?
2nd question, whats a good exhaust that not super loud but has a deep sound to it?
Been watching some videos but its hard to tell the real sound off a video.
buddy of mine took off his resonator off a rsx and that thing sounds amazing, so deep and bass like.

after exhaust i want to get stuff that would usually break once you start adding power and get that stuff before anything. like axles and clutch, but is there anything else that would fail once power starts getting up there? I heard pistons too i think.

You have a lot of reading and searching to do my friend. Search for the LSJ modification thread.

You do not need a 3" exhaust. You also do not need to replace axles, clutch, or pistons.

agreed, you better use the search function and do some reading.... to start you need to decide how heavy you plan on modding.... this will determine what you will buy.... and in what order..... a good place to start is a cai... then maybe exhaust ie: downpipe.... but most likely you will pulley down and cooling mods next..... along with tune......

If you stick with the supercharger you really dont need an exhaust. Plus it is very hard to make an LSJ sound good if you stay supercharged. I would suggest down pipe and header. Also I would not worry about the cai either, the air box mod is plenty. All you have to do then is throw a 2.8 pulley, some injectors and a few supporting cooling mods. axles will be fine, stock clutch should hold up (depending on how you drive).

Like everyone is saying, it really depends on what you want out of your car, and what you want to do with it. A good way to start is suspension. It dont matter how much power your car has, you cant be fast if you cant control it and put that power to the ground. Also get motor and trans mounts.... very helpful.

Just go through the LSJ section and read threads about what everyone has done and how it works how so you can get a better idea of what you want.

I plan on eventually making it a full build almost.. thats why i wanted to just get the stuff that may break out of the way so i don't have to worry in the future.

what my plan is right now for the next month or 2 is full 2.5 inch exhaust, cai, tune, stg3, and hopefully cams. thats all i really want and then start working on the body, wheels, and just making it look good

If you must do exhaust being that you plan on doing a "full build" go ahead and buy the 3 inch. or atleast do the exhaust last, your not gonna see hardly any gains out of it if thats what you are thinking it will do, but if you go with a 3inch atleast you will be ready for a turbo swap . We are just trying to help you save some time and money.

im not doing exhaust for performance. i just want it to sound good and i like to hear it as well, actually helps with driving when you can hear the motor, maybe i won't hit the rev limiter so much haha
