A few questions if I may...

Here are 3 questions I am looking for answers on as far as performance parts.

1.) If I where to buy a tune from someone w/ the same mods as me, and he worked out his A/F would it carry over to my car, or does that vary car from car?

2.) I dont have to keep a wide band in 24/7 right? I can tune to the right levels and take it out and call it a day. I have a Interceptor and get 0 knock.

3.) What are the Vibrations from an engine mount like? If you put antivibration tape on it before installing would you still get the +'s of a solid mount, w/ less Vib?

1. It varies from car to car.
2. Not sure on that one.
3. I have the ZZP Billet Engine and get a good bit of vibrations, they did wear off as they broke in and got older, but they are still there. If your looking to nearly kill wheel hop, I would recommend it along with the tranny mount. To me, little no wheel hop and mild vibrations is worth it.

Hope that helps a little bit.

1. I have to say yes, it would transfer nicely. Like you said, you have all the same stuff he does.
2. Correct, you don't need to keep the wide band installed after you have finalized your tune.
3. I don't know what anti-vibration tape is, but if doesn't sound like a very good way of solving such a problem.

GM ships the same tune with all the SS/SC's IF you have the same components they same tune will work.

Sweet, then this will probably be the way I go. I mean, I will eventually buy a wideband, but I dont have the loot to pay for HP Tuners a wideband and a laptop all in one shot. If my bro wasnt going halfs w/ me then I would probaby have to wait even longer.

I think Ill get HPTuners and get the tune from teh dood w/ stage 2 and 2.8, as well as intake/header/exaust. I mean its a different, header/intake and exaust but that shouldnt matter right

I mean, my big thing is I want to stay on the ground, but at the same time, I dont want to drive arround in an earthquakemobil. I mean first thing I did when I got in my bro's car w/ engine/tranny mount is laugh cause it was the funnies feeling thing I ever felt. I mean you cant downplay those vibrations as normal, IM sorry, that the most pathetic thing I have ever felt. I would expect that from a nascar, or a 2000 hp car, but his ION redline, ELAF!
