Talking Finally Got My SS

YEAH! I'm SO HAPPY!!!!! FINALLY GOT IT! WOOOOOO!
Didn't even have it an hour and a VW Jetta got next to me on the interstate and revved. I was like "uhhh......" I looked ahead and saw no traffic for a good 3 miles, dropped into 3rd from 5th at 60mph and floor it. Roasted the tires and the auto volume kicked on! Anyway I took 3rd to its end with the supercharger screaming at me and then began the braking process and changed into the far right lane. He caught up to me and passed me probably doing over 100.... I hope he didn't have anyone in the car because I really made him look like an idiot. And the SS still has dealership tags X-D
Now I just need some aftermarket stuff.... supercharger pulley, cat back exhaust, K&N, maybe port'n'polish later (supercharger and cylinder head). GM Racing says the stock internals can handle 300HP on the 2.0L engine (what I have) and no more. So I'd like to get from stock @ 205HP to somewhere around 270HP for now. Then maybe forged rods and lower compression pistons later to get around 400HP.....

Congrats!!! That's a beaute!!! I don't know if it's just me, but your rims look a lot lighter than most pics I've seen. I'm starting to believe that are different shades of the SS/SC rims on each and every car. I love it though...I think I;m going to regret changing my colour to blue after seeing yours. Damn!!!

Its funny that you say that, because I thought so too. I thought I had the darker ones that I've seen but I took it to the car wash (as the pictures indicate) and I wiped a thin film of brake dust off the wheels. Maybe that's it, they're all the same color, they just have different amounts of brake dust build up. I guess that comes with slowing down fast from 100+ lol

Great feeling to finally get the car. I had a horrible experience with the dealerships in my area. I searched for two weeks and when I went to the dealer I ended up buying from, the whole process took about 30 minutes from the time I walked in to the time I signed my first sheet of paper there. I actually felt more relieved than anything else. One of the guys where I work found out I got it and is already talkin trash (he's a SRT owner). Haven;t really raced anyone yet, but I think he'll be my first victim....

Awesome, Black looks so good clean. Only thing that sucks is that its hot as f*** when its been sitting outside, or maybe its just the Texas weather here, anwys nice car, and enjoy.

Note: Look at the Sparkle on the bumper of the 2nd picture, almost looks fake, but awesome lookin!
