What's up, My name is Justin and I am going to purchase ss/sc very soon. I have a couple questions, and yes i've read the facts etc.

The first thing is, does anyone know if they are coming out with a turbo ss in 2008? and is it worth the wait. Second, is there anything special i need to look for when i go test drive and check out the cobalt. I am pretty sure im going to do the stage 2 kit, can they do this within the whole buy, or do you have to purchase that at a later time. And have you guys noticed a big difference in going from stock to stage 1 or 2 kit? I am going to get the g85package, and the cobalt is going to be red. Thank you for your input and take care.

 

I don't think there's proof that the '08 is going turbo, I think it's just speculation.

 

Also, one more thing. I noticed on some of the first cobalts, the car came with 18 inch racing hearts. Can you still get this? thanks

 

The Harts were only on the pre-production model, although if you talk to the right people you may be able to get them made.

Stage 2 is a noticable increase from what I have heard, but I'm still stock and have yet to ride in a Staged SS S/C. I don't see why they couldn't tack it onto your loan, but you may have to wait for it. Last I heard it is back ordered.

eh by the end of THIS year you can already have a turbo SS/SC. Hahncraft is supposedly releasing them soon to have a twincharge system. so do you want to wait 2 years on speculation for a turbo SS or just get a SS/SC now and soon have a Turbo+Supercharged SS?
