so friday night i was driving back from work..was on major mackenzie in maple...iwas in the left lane..had tons of room infront of me to the other car....looked over my shoulder to change lanes...looked forward..some stupid NEON cut infront of me and SLAMMED on the brakes...i tryed to avoid...but the roads were wet and had no chance...hit the car pretty good....the stupid guy took off..never looked or stopped....someone saw and took down the plate...so i took the car saturday morning to the reporting station...filled out an accident report...the plate the lady took down..was invalid..so she is my only witness....the balt is at the bodyshop already...tomorrow the adjuster is going there to take the photos...the guy at the body shop said by the looks of it...its about $9,000 in damages...i never thought id see the day my car on the back of a tow truck with damages caused by me

wow, glad to see you're ok. I can't believe that the hood and all is crunched that bad but the front bumper is in that good of shape. How high did that neon sit? Must have been that one on the ricer thread that's lifted. I guess that just shows you how flexible that plastic is.

 

That sucks. I don't c 9k in damage...new hood, fresh paint, realign it all. He'll looking at the bumper it doesn't even look like your impact bar saw any damage. So chances r your car is fine besides the obvious cosmetic damage. But if u end up parting out let me know

thanks everyone....im fine...wrist is a lil swore....the rad support is damaged pretty good...and the bumper car is done....going to talk to the bodyshop and see if they can paint the center of the hood black...and do the evo mod...

 

I hit a deer recently,I already had my bumper painted like that so they charged the labor to have it professionally painted and cleared. I also worked we the body shop to get parts I wanted (they were cheaper anyways, factory H/E was over $460 MSRP) anyways I got a set of dual projectors, ZZP S3 H/E, ZZP 3" intake, and TC grills out of it. It's still at the body shop. I also get to keep the lip that just has two mounting tabs broke off of it.
