foggy windshield

WTF My windshield is always foggy! Defrost you say? As soon as I turn it off, 20 seconds later it's fogged up again. Someone tell me there's a remedy because at night on dark streets I'm blind if another car drives by.

Its due to the outgassing of the interior parts as the plastics cure. You know your "NEW CAR SMELL" well thats what does it. The Cobalt is rated as the cleanest new car built but because of the new processes for making the parts the foggy windows occurs. So while the new car smell isn't as bad for you in the Cobalt you just can't see where the hell your going!

I clean mine with INVISIBLE GLASS once a month and now that its about 9 months old its getting less and less. Just clean em real good and it'll go away eventualy.

yup jacks right. the only other reason i can think of for your windows fogging all the time was if you had liquid in the car, like a half a bottle of coke or water or something in the car for awhile. i am not sure if i am right but it seemed that with my last car if i left alot of pop cans and bottles in my car it would fog up alot more.

And it will for awhile. Florida is a tropic state the best I can do is tell you to leave your sunrrof open a crack when you KNOW its not gonna rain this way the gas has someplace to excape to. Do you smoke? It'll be way worse if you do, if you do this is a good reason for you to quit. Well you know beside the whole lung cancer thing that is.

same problem but i just keep an old t-shirt with me and wipe it away when it starts to bother me

BTW the reason its bad in Florida is because of the ridiculous humidity levels.

Rain-X makes an interior antifogging product that works pretty darn good. Just don't use their exterior product on your interior glass surfaces.
