It is a resistor that changes the voltage coming out of the sensor to the ECU to trick it into giving you more less fuel and possibly some timing.

DON'T GET IT

this is the best one yet.... 20hp for less than a dollar!! just think... for 100 dollars, you can have 2000hp!!! 200 dollars is good for 4000hp

Ah yes, the small town of Reisterstown. It's a nice place, quiet, comfy and the factory they produce these at is very nice too. I've got 3 of these in my Cobalt and for everyone installed it gets you 8 mpg more! Hell I am beating Toyota Prius in gas mileage because of these bad boys.

Seconded. It's a resistor that will bypass your airflow sensor. Don't do it unless you want to void your warranty and possibly mess up your car.
