Front bumper what do you think.

I lady down the street her son had a LT and bought a SS front bumper, it has no lip just the sport bumper. she said she will sell it to me for 40 bucks its black primered but i think fot 40 bucks i should buy it and get GM matching paint, paint it and install it probably for under 100 bucks so should i buuy the bumper for 40 bucks. i think its a no brainer?

Anyone know how much it would be to get gm matching maping for ultra silver? or and what clear coat would u use?

Ur gonna paint the bumper yourself? Ask your dealer about the paint info.

if you're only doing the bumper, i wouldn't do it. it looks rediculous when the bumper is lower than the rest of the body lines, looks pretty ghetto imo. 40 is a great price, now factor in 1-200 for paint. don't paint it yourself.

LOL> AZCobaltMan Im in AZ too and Im sure there has to be something out there we can use. I have been tempted to go shopping around.

Only issue that I have is I have a 4 door. No side skirts yet. Tempted to make one. Now that would be cool if I only knew what I was doing.

Try Ebay. There are some pretty good salvage places on there. Morad Parts Company is one of them in Cleveland, OH.

SS bumpers sell for a pretty good amount on the forums here....a painted one can easily sell for $400 to us LS guys, and unpainted would be like $200ish... getting one for $40 is a steal....
hell, if you want, you can evenn buy it for $40, and sell it to a member for $200, and im sure youll sell it. Thats a good profit.
