Front license plate removal

This isn't me asking how to remove my license plate lol,

I was wondering how long people think I could go without getting a ticket for swapping my front license plate to a metal "SS" plate. I'm not one to try and **** off the local police, but do they generally take it seriously in states that make it mandatory to have one? I'm not like dead-set on doing it, I'm just curious.

This is the plate I have in mind: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-2011-2012-2013-Chevrolet-Camaro-SS-Black-License-Plate-Frame-Tag/400478602791?_trksid=p2045573.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D27%26meid%3D7641165065182242161%26pid%3D100033%26prg%3D1011%26rk%3D2%26sd%3D140409317915%26

I didn't even think of relocating it haha, thats a great idea. Do you think I could possibly put my front license plate in the window?

I just looked up plate relocation kits and I found a product called the "Hide-The-Plate". I wonder if I could install it right next to the regular license plate holder and only pop it up when necessary.

I know in Mass you will fail inspection unless the front plate is attached to the bumper. I had mine in the window and they wouldn't pay me, so I went home and attached it with a few zip-ties to get my sticker.

That will probably end up being the case for me too, the local cops are great guys and don't really say much, but any other city or state and I think they would stalk me. It's a relatively cheap decision, so I think I'll try it and see if they care or not. Biggest deal is I put my old plate back on.

I don't even have a bracket and have never been stopped for it. I had an s10 that didn't ha e a front plate because it fell off and I was.pulled over 4 times in a week. It just depends on if the officer feels like it is worth his time or not.

Had mine in my windshield for about 2-3 months now. No issues here in CT.

No ones pulled me over yet, the local cops are just giving me dirty looks.
I'm thinking I might be good.
