So GM realizes turbo = more peak power... I wish that we could get turbos for the production model but oh well, maybe the 06's.

Yeah.....if they are going for a record, the engine should have the same method of forced induction as the production car.

Looks silly that we get a supercharger but the race car has a turbo.

Maybe GM should have just used an off the shelf Saab 2.0 Turbo for the top line SS. Its pretty much an eco-tec anyhow. I think the short block is the same but the haeds are unique to Saab.

Saabs been doing turbo motors forever.
