Bought some g5 steelies. little rusty and dirty.

Bought a set of General Altimax Arctic tires.

Took some steel wool then denatured alcohol to the wheels and then primed them.

final coat

mounted. used a few layers of heavy duty trash bag plastic through the studs and stretched it over the axle nut. same thing in the rear but its flat in the middle.

on the car after some fun in the snow. the control was really nice.

about 370 all together but i got a great deal on the wheels, and my buddy works for continental so i got a hook up on the tires. also for paint supplies and diesel fuel for the heater.
I don't see the make-shift center cap lasting long, but for steelies they are
Just don't go all Honda on us and rock them in the summer. lol. If you can't afford a nice set of light wheels just quit. Or die. Something like that. Hehe.
Yeah I know.. Wasn't really towards him, just all the stupid perpetual pieces of crap I see on steelies in the summer irritates me. lol. Stock rims are perfectly functional and don't add that much weight for what they will be doing with them. AKA driving back and fourth to work at Walmart.
I should add hubcaps too. Taking them off does not make your ride leet either! Ok, I'll go calm down now.. Hehe
