Future Mods

I have planned out how I want to mod my cobalt. As far as looks, it will stay stock, but with the engine i am going to get CAI, Full Exhaust(Headers, high-flow cat, new muffler), Stage II from GM, Ingalls engine dampener, and a 75 shot of NOS and leave it at that, tell me what you guys think.

How do you plan on spraying?

What kind of nitrous kit?

What are you doing as far as tuning?

How much power are you aiming for?

Do you think your stock fuel pump can handle the fuel demand?

Forget about the nitrous, all your other mods should maintain your factory warranty. Put the money you would waste on nitrous and put it into your suspension. Traction bars, strut bar, springs, etc

Goodluck, the LSJ has a lot of potential if your smart about it

What do you mean by supporting mods. This is the reason why i posted this thread, so I can get some help, cause I want to still have the engine run good and have the power i want.

When you say "supporting modifications" what are you referring to? Just curious.

Oh ok. Just curious.

Though, any modification is really a "supporting" modification to an extent but I understand what you mean. Basically, just saying look out for the common problems.

I havent heard much of the problems with it. I want as much power as possible while keeping reliablity. I guess I wont put NOS on it, Like i said, I am learning what I should and shouldnt do.

clutch and axels my friend. Also don't forget about instrumentation to monitor it all. A nice wideband AF gauge, an interceptor, and maybe an oil pressure gauge just to be safe.

if you want to keep 90% reliability then the most i would do is GM stg2, intake, exhaust (the basics)
.....anything after that, and you have to do what Coblt ss super calls "supporting mods" otherwise you'll be seeing some probs after a while

The reason I asid that is cause his fuel system is already pretty big on trying to supply the fuel injectors cause of it being a boost application...now he wants to add a 75 shot of nitrous, does he think his fuel pump can keep up with the demand for this?

That's why I said that.

Ok, thats why I asked, wasn't sure as far as the efficiency of them. If he's getting a wet kit, injectors shouldn't matter.
