Okay so I have been test driving cars for a good 2-3 weeks now and I've decided I want to order an 06 SS/SC with the G85. I'm sure most of you will think I'm off my rocker but I'm unable to "Build & Price" an orange SS/SC with the G85 on Chevrolet.com. It won't let you do it for red either. Does this mean the G85 isn't offered in these colors???

 

you can only do it if you choose ebony/ebony seats, can't have color inserts, that doesn't explain the sunburst orange though

 

i know for a fact that the red can come with g85 because they had one at the dealer the other day and yea it was an 06.

 

there is no restriction on body color, only interior

 

damn....you can "build" an o6 Cobalt on Chevrolet.com

but not on gmcanada

I built a Cobalt SS----no granite blue in USA, (there is in Canada) enhanced audio is an option (std in Canada)
and USA gets white faced guages.

Cool, I'm hoping to go order my new 06 here in a month or so after I pay off my current car. I was also going to wait for some aftermarket parts or "staged" upgrades (Thanks Mopar for putting that in our heads!!) but out of the cars I have test-driven, the SS/SC is still #1 on my list and the one I want to go with.
