Gas Cap
Well I go off work today to only find the Check Engine light on. It said check gas cap. So I got out of the car, walked around it to the cap. SOME LITTLE ****** STOLE MY GAS CAP!!!!!! WTF????? So lets just say I'll be headed to Advanced Auto Parts to pick up a new gas cap after my first class today....stupid *******

would`nt you just love to catch the little ****** & beat his ass !Maybe you should get a locking cap.

I actually thought about that...but i figured i would just buy it and if it happens again i'm gonna buy the locking.

The Stant 10511 locking gas cap has worked now for 3 months worth of driving without generating a CEL on my 2006 SS/SC
It can be obtained at a variety of places....a search of the forums had some links for locking gas caps, but did not mention the Stant 10511 by number.
You can use a search engine like www.froogle.com with Stant 10511 being a search term to find a good deal.
Consider this is useful for preventing people from putting stuff in your gas tank that should not go in....

watch out for some of those gas caps though. we get a lot of cars in with aftermarket gas caps causing a CEL to come on.
