Gas mileage

ok stupid thing here wondering if neone had same prob

first time i ever filled my car up said i could do about 470kms

just filled my car up today and it said only 434km i was like wtf

then i was thinking maybe its got sensors on how u drive the car and calculas that all in

ne thoughts on this lmk plz

Yea, the MPG, and miles to empty meter-thing, are based on how you drive. So if your idling most of the time, it will be low, likewise if you do alot of highway traveling, its gonna be high.

came home from work last night on empty put 5 bucks in and when i started it up today it still read low miles didnt reset untill i restarted car

I thought the same thing when I got mine. Said I was gonna get like 330 or something. I only got like 190.

it'll do that. basically, to keep the reading from flopping all over, it takes a second. if you drove around a bit, it would also work itself out
