yeh chevy can boast best in class fuel economy with a few of their vehicles.. the Cobalt XFE, and im pretty sure Aveo, impala, malibu, and silverado too. They also made a hybrid silverado that is super nice..
And if they arent scoring top in the class for fuel economy, then theyre running a close second. The Impala is cheaper, faster, has more options, and gets better gas mileage than a camry or accord last time i checked.
I like foreign cars, but i bought the cobalt because it was simply the absolute best bang for my buck. The options, the speed, the looks, and the new-ness of it cant be beat!

lol this is an outside company. you can still do it with your cobalt. my parents have been apart of this thing for almost 2 years now. it hurt them when gas prices were lower your kind of locked in at that price and still have to pay for the gas.. read the fine print but now its paying off nice.. just check it out lol.. it doesnt really help you lol they just dont discount the cars. plus chrysler is doing it too, you were wondering about the other company
now if gas goes under the $3 they are SCREWED lol.. they are crossing their fingers, now that its down to like 3.40 something around here lol

im pretty sure you can just drive your car up to the pump and fill it with gas without going through the company to get gas, i dont see how they would be able to regulate that unless that company delivered the gas and checked that **** in which case f that. this is all with saying that gas goes under 3.00 a gallon

So for the cars that get crappy mileage it doesn't make a difference...if you run the low octane it will run like crap regardless and make you're free gas worthless.

i highly doubt GM will make any deals on gas prices as a sales incentive for buyers. GM's sales are down but still, i doubt they will make an offer like dodge has. if your cars can't sell themselves then you (the car maker) has a bigger problem than fuel efficiency.
i personally could care less about gas prices. i spent 30k on a car and refuse to let it sit outside my house to take my bicycle to work to save on gas. if gas goes upto $20 a gallon i will have a smile on my face for a few reasons. less cars on the road causing less traffic, no waiting on line to fuel up, and lower insurance rates since less cars are on the road to hit me or vice versa. lets be real people... many of you are modding for added HP gains, you obviously aren't concerned with fuel efficiency so why bring it up?

I was thinking the same thing. Dodge gave my old man a gas voucher with his Ram, so he runs 87 in his 5.7 Hemi all the time, after putting 91 in an Intrepid for years. That beast was about as fast the Firefly I was blessed with driving for a few months.
