Talking Gauge questions

Ok this is my question i'm thinkin about adding a couple of gauges to my car but there is i problem i dont have a supercharger or turbocharger so the boost gauge is out of the question for now. so my question is can i add any other gauge to my car that will let me know other things such as oil, volt, water or other things.

Yeah, you can still add pretty much any other type of gauge, they are universal for the most part. Voltmeters and temperature gauges are pretty simple to hook up, just follow the directions they come with.

Your best bet is a dual interceptor setup That's wht I have. It reads off of your PCM port. Gives you RPM, Speed, Ignition, Intake tempature, voltage, collant temp, and a bunch of other cool stuff. Get one, or two. However, for my 06SS Cobalt, it does not read Oil temp/pressure, however it does have extra inputs (each gauge has 2 analog inputs) where you can buy sensor kits to install to have Analog 1 = Oil Pressure ect.

1: Volt Gauge can show you system voltage, Mostly if your alternator dies, or if your under too heavy a load electrically, itll go down. My interceptor gauges have a voltgauge function.
As for Oil Pressure, you'll need to add a pressure sensor. Oil pressure gauge can give you better warning if you have a malfunction. By the time your oil pressure drops to turn your light on, it may be too late. With a gauge you can see it going down before its too late.

3: ZZ Performance is where I got mine, they are a supporting vendor of the sight

Wire it to a 12v source. Post under hood, battery, etc..

As far as power, this is the easiest thing you will ever find to power it:

I agree. That's what I used and I powered all 3 gauges.

If you get interceotpr(s) they just plug into the PCM port. No engine wireing. Yes it does have a volt setting on it.

You will however have to wire a power up for the interceptor, Most people wire it to the pink wire on the boost gauge.
