After a good morning of golf yesterday I spent part of the afternoon getting the remaining black interior pieces in the car. If I do say so myself, it looks so much better!
Here you can see the customer wrapped C pillar along with the other 2 black pieces.

You'll note I still don't have the drivers side door panel in black, that's the only major piece I'm still missing.
Wrapped A pillars along with the black kick panels down below.

Deleted the head rests at the moment. Need to grab some black ones. Was that back panel that covers the speakers/rear deck black in the SS cars? Or grey?

Does anyone have any solutions for covering up scratches on the platicy panels? Any type of black tinted interior stuff to possibly cover them up?

I neeeeed to find a drivers side door panel, but our junkyards suck around here and there's no way I'm going to pay $100+ for one shipped haha.

Yeah everything went in pretty well, fitment is a little off on the passenger side rear stuff, but I probably didn't get a clip seated right. Seat belt bolt wasn't bad at all. One big crank with the breaker bar and I could get them out the rest of the way with a ratchet.

They're so awesome! Thanks again. Where'd you get the fabric? Because if I redo my headliner I'd like to do the sun visors in the same material.

Well this is fun.
Pulled into the pizza place after work to pick up my delicious cheese bread. When I pulled in I was met with what seemed like a small puddle, but was actually a Norwegian lake. Rolled slowly through the series of lakes and parked. Came back out, turned the car on and was met with a wonderful check engine light. I've never had the engine light on this car, so it was a bit alarming. Driving home I noticed that it shifted quite heavily and quickly, and the reverse to drive shift was quite a slam. My normal values for shift times on the Interceptor are anywhere from 300 to 800ms, and now they're around 60, 88, or 111. Engine seems to be fine and revs nicely in neutral as usual. Dropped by vatozone and had them run the codes.
P0030 - O2 heater condition
P0036 - O2 heater condition
P0102 - MAP/BARO or MAF/VAF sensor condition
P0171 - Fuel trim bank one condition
P0443 - EVAP purge/vent solenoid circuit condition
What I think happened is my downpipe dragged through the puddle and got my secondary O2 sensor wet, but that doesn't explain the MAF one or the EVAP. Would any of these codes lead to hard shifting issues? Is it okay to drive still? I don't have any days off this week and it appears like it's going to rain all week. Anyone come across a similar situation?
Also noted, a lot of the function on my Interceptor gauge don't seem to be working now, i.e. the horsepower/torque readings etc. Could this be because they pull values from the O2 sensors working in harmony?

did you take the lower silencer part off? otherwise there is a chance you pulled some water, not enough for hydro lock but enough to mess with the maf and map sensors

It was a fuse...a little meesly 10amp fuse. Cleaned the MAF, and got the same codes. Was going to just grab another MAF sensor, but then I thought "this almost seems something electrical is out of whack. What could cause all 4 of those sensors to go bad at the same time"? Picked around the fuse panel and just pulled a few fuses. Ended up being the "EXH" fuse.
Hey at least it was that easy! Everything is now copasetic. Now if ZZP would just respond to my emails so I could get the damn flange straightened on my downpipe.

Car looks great man, love to see a base become an SS lol. How'd you go about doing an interior swap? I know you purchased parts from all over, but is there a look your going for? I've got an 08 sport I want to do an all black interior swap to, so I'm just curious

Thanks! Didn't really have a plan with the interior swap. I wasn't going to touch it until I got the SS seats from Justin. I would have liked to get black leathers for the rear, but no one sits back there 99% of the time anyway and the cloth looks good as well. Realistically I just wanted to replace everything with black haha.

Had a good day of painting/tinkering yesterday.
-Swapped out the LSJ pipe to put my ZZP 2.5" down pipe back in. Dropped by ZZP the other day and they sanded the flange down. It was quite warped.
-Had an extra valve cover laying around that I bought off someone on Facebook. Cleaned it up the best I could and painted it VHT Gold. It looks great from a few feet away and in photos, but up close it's a bit rough.

One day I'd like to dive into some of the wiring mess and clean it up, but that may be a little bit out of my technical reach. I'm not great with wiring/electrical stuff.
-Decided to redo the interior trim pieces as well. I've got my new wheels coming eventually and I think this color scheme will go a little better than the blue. Also the blue was a little worn and scuffed, so a change was welcome. Pretty happy with the outcome. Only thing I can think of is I might do the center piece around the radio black, but we'll see.

And cell phone pic after a cruise the other night. Camera on the Galaxy S6 is quite excellent in low light.

That's one thing I've never understood about GM. Every (that I've been in at least) all black interior car that has come from GM since the 90's has a tan headliner and visors. Even the brand new CTS's and Impalas with the black interior have tan headliners. Doesn't make sense.

The tan upper half makes the car feel more roomy/open. the black makes it feel constraining to the average consumer
No worries lmao. I'm probably switching to something else

Totally forgot about the GoPro i got for christmas. Now that my exhaust is finally all back together with no leaks I figured I'd take a few videos. This is the basic GoPro hero, so I don't expect much. Low light performance doesn't seem too great, however sound actually seems pretty good. No editing and just plopped them on youtube.
