General Grill and Light Question

I reviewed the entire "How to make a custom Top Grill"
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/how-guide-43/how-make-custom-top-grill-21641/

But I was wondering where most people buy their Mesh from, most of the sites I could find charge way too much for a small sheet of mesh...I'm sure someone's found it for alot cheaper

Also, has anyone seen the foglights on a 3LT? When I turn them on they don't even give off enough light to really help at all...Is this normal? My dealer said it seemed ok.
Can anyone link some decent, but cheap bright bulb replacements? Nothing super uber duper blinding bright plz lol

the mesh I bought was from home depot.
cost me $11 for a sheet that built me a total of 1 upper grille, and 4 lower grilles, and i still have some in the basement.

perfect. just what i was looking for...these online ricer sites want $50 for a 12x12 sheet??? wtf

any clue as to which department you found it in? thanks an0m!!

edit: oh ya, you guys think the how-to should be similar for my 2.2 front fascia right? i just wanna do the top section, maybe the center bottom. i dont really dislike my front fascia, it's the rear one I have an issue with, doesnt hang low enough to cover the exhaust and underbody (simply for appearence)
main objective with the new grill is for
1. looks
2. better cooling
3. the stock one is a bit** to clean, water leaks in there, uhh, dont get me started

mine was kinda in the back area with the large items,

find someone and ask them to direct you to the large sheets of mesh / gutter guard type stuff.

looks good, i like the lettering.

i need to cut out and remake a real Upper grill to fit the LT Fascia. The stock one is a pain and its restrictive as hell..just like everything else on this car.

damn my car is so deadly silent, you cant even hear me at WOT LMFAO

well i have some what disagree with you cause it seems they are having more luck with the 2.2 and 2.4s then they are the ss/sc models on aftermarket turbo and sc kits

not really...nothing out there works well...we got no tuning except the AEM, SMT, and SCT devices, all of which dont appear to work too well...the SCT is prob most promising, but idk.

not to mention its $3500 for the turbo kit! lol. you can build it yourself for around $1500, $1200ish if you buy a slightly used turbo
