gettin bored...
so, im getting bored with my car at the moment, i have nuthin to work on.
i cant do any performance mods, parents wont let me. idk what else to do. i want to work on it cuz it keeps me busy.
im thinkin about like gettin a oil pressure guage. just for somethin to do. are they really worth like 150-200 bux?

i use my oil pressure guage all the time, its GREAT for cold starts. you dont realize how high ur oil pressure is on a cold start.
but i doubt u would need it on a car thts not pushed at all.

soo, im gunna pull up with a louder than normal cobalt and they will think nothing of it? haha

yeah cuz i dont have any performance mods at all, and i dont plan on racing it. its almost paid off, so maybe then they will let me do stuff to it. i mainly just wanna do bolt ons.

When I bought the car I still lived with my parents. I would always get my stuff sent over to my dad's house or my friends' house and install them over there lol. They won't notice things like intake, sway bars etc unless they are constantly looking in and around your car. Also check the how-to section there are tons of cheap little mods you can do.

You get get the short sweep electric oil pressure gauge for under $50. The full sweep gauges are @$200. Have you read up on installation of an oil pressure gauge? Main problem is where to put the sending unit...not much room if you install it in the original oil pressure switch position. The cylinder head has some available galley plugs -- but those positions only read cylinder head oil pressure, not the block oil pressure.

Use the extra money to pay off the car quicker so you can buy something that doesn't bore you. OR maybe save it towards an apartment lol . You could buy your parent's a nice Xmas present ....
