Getting Gas

When getting gas, do you guys fill it all the way up, half way or a certain dollar amount or gallon amount every time?

I always fill up all the way to the top so the gauge is reading past the full mark. Gas prices are only going one direction anymore... that's up. So you are better off just getting a full tank every time you stop... it's only gonna cost more next week.

Plus traffic around here is so crazy it's a battle to get in and out of the gas stations without getting run over or hit... I try to minimize my time there.

Fill it up, every single time. Well, except for days like today--day before payday, five bucks in hand. But I NEVER fill it if it's got more than 1/4 tank. I also try to minimize my trips to the gas station. Too many gas-sucking SUV's and yuppie Legacy and Audi wagons here in Utah battling it out at the pumps.

I just can't believe that it costs like 50 bucks to fill up my tiny ass baseline 'Balt WITH REGULAR GAS! I remember when I was in high school and it was like a buck a gallon... Ahh... Those were the days!

indeed.

Personally i fill up about a half a tank every time because it's lighter & it will still get me to work and back for like a week.

Full tank, every Sunday or when the low fuel warning pops up, whichever comes first.

I always fill it up..It just pisses me off when on the few occasions I don't fill it up, the next day/week gas prices have gone up. I was ended up kicking myself for not filling up when it was cheaper.

fill'er up. i want to be outside in the heat as little as possible (unless i'm at the beach, of course. ), so if you fill it up, you're good for a week or so.

I always fill all the way up. I commute to work, and I always have to have a full tank....it usually costs a good $30+ now to do that...good thing I only have to fill up every 3 days or so.
