i read somewere on the board that it was a valve ontop of the fuel tank that gave you the loud 3 Taps... but like you all said once you shut the car off there is a constant tap noise almost evenly spaced. but i never really cared since i rarly just sit in the car. also the E-Brake thing. are we talking about the 4 wheel disk or the rear drums? i only have the LS but i keep mine adjusted up and i can let my car set on a decent angled hill with only the parking brake

If it's Space Ghost it all depends on the mood he's in when you trade the car in...
I don't think it's the brake because it only happens when the car is shut off. Could be the car making sure the trunk is locked though... not the emergency release but the electronic release... makes sense.

I can't figure it out. Almost every time I go to get in my car, I unlock the door with the remote, get in, and the car tells me that my trunk is ajar. Sometimes I randomly go out and check to see if its closed, and one time when I checked it wasn't.
I'm confused, but I think if I take the car to the dealer and ask, there would be no way for them to test something like that, and they'd just think I was stupid.
Anyone else had a similar problem?

Be Carefull they might get you.
It's probably your key fob. its very sensitive and if you have it in you pocket it might trigger it to open or when you press to open you door it might open it also.
I would bring it to the dealer to see if they can give you a new fob.

Maybe the car itself just hates me. It won't show me its full potential, it gets me stuck in weird embarassing places and I really think it tries to make me look stupid.
Maybe it knows that I'm contemplating whether I should trade it off in the spring of 08 for an evo 9.
