I was just wondering, between the Performance and Touring, is one any louder than the other? Because I would like an exhaust for performance gain but w/o sounding like a honda as much as possible.

GM claims 7% increase in flow.

Performance is louder -- does not sound like a Honda! If you keep your foot out of it the noise level is perfect. Nice and loud when you want it to be.

I think we are getting 2.5 hours for the manifold install and 1 hour for the exhaust system install. I hope that helps.

To hear the sound clips of the two systems click: here

I test fitted the 17802059 and the 17802060 on to GMPP exhaust for the Cobalt and it fit perfect.

Just ordered me a gm performance intake. Any idea what the hp gain is for a 2.2L? I know it's not much, but I want to keep my facts straight.

with the Stage 2 upgrade, i will notice a gain? will my bitch whine louder? i'm waiting for a response.. i do believe i will purchase this Stage 2 through this vendor..

oh, and when purchasing this through this vendor, does it include the computer re-flash for free?

and is there a Stage 3, er no??
Thanks in advance guys.. I'm still new to this.. I'm coming from the Mazda family here..

The best thing to do is read the thread: GM STAGE KITs FAQs - Read Me First!
This will answer a lot of questions you might have.
what I do know is the pulley size is 3" and you will still have to pay a dealer to re-flash your vehicle.
Yes there is a stage 3 kit coming out but you will need the Stage 2 installed first as the Stage 3 kits is a upgrade.

Hope that helps.

Anything else getting added to the list before the sale ends? Or can we expect what is on the list now, is what your offering for the sale only? Thanks.

If you can't find a friend to install the Performance Exhaust for you find a more reputable shop -- Meineke estimate is overkill/overcharging as it takes a single person less than an hour to install!
