GM stage 1 LNF upgrade need help

Recently purchased the stage one upgrade. Long story I bought the kit second hand for really cheap(which is still brand new and in the package) and dont have the installation instructions with authorization code on it. Contacted GM and no help, contacted the vendor and they sent a receipt with a 8 number code that comes up invalid. My question is who do I contact to get the calibration code or a new one or am I s**t out of luck?

You are SOL. Sounds like they used the code already. You are going to need an HP tune now.

^what he said, it sounds like they used the code already and then resold the kit to you. I hope you didn't pay a lot because you basically bought $100 worth of sensors only.

Hmm, my next question is are you sure it's a stage 1 for the LNF and not a stage 1 for the LSJ (supercharged)?

Basically the calibration code is a one time use thing that gets associated with your VIN in GM's system for warranty purposes. Since you are likely not in warranty anymore, and if you actually do have the stage 1 sensors for the LNF, you can just get someone to HP tune you. If you want, you could even use HP tuners to flash the stage 1 tune on for you since people have copies of the GM tune.

Yes they are for the LNF. Who would I contact for the tune?

That's a good question. There are tons of people out there with tuning experience. You'll need someone local. Since you are from El Paso, I would suggest posting in the El Paso thread that you are looking for some help from someone local with HP tuners. That would be your easiest route.

Real talk. Send ur pcm to zzp for a hpt tune better then gms1. Or buy a pcm and sent it to them if u don't want ur car MIA for a week or so. Then u can get hpt hardware later and get sombody to write u a custom tune. U get enough power without having to drop a lot of cash. U might just like the canned tune from zzp.

A canned tune is terrible advice.
