GM stage 4 and 5

i was just talking to my friend that works at a gm dealer and he said to watch out for the gm stage 4 and 5 kits to come out next summer. he told me that the stage 4 will add up to60hp and 55trq and the stage 5 will add up to 100hp and 85tqu. the stage 5 is supposed to be comparable to the stage 3 for srt4's. my friend is a very reliable source. he is the one that told me about the stage three and look it came true. i will keep everyone posted about dates and prices as soon as i find anything out. leave me your thoughts cause i nko everyone is gonna think i am full of **** but you will all see it soon!!!!

i dont think there is any truth to this honestly. GM isnt what it used to be for putting out Staged kits. Be lucky the cobalt is able to sport a SS badge IMHO.

I'm not even a SC but why when someone comes out with information like this, someone's always got to bash on it? It's supposed to be a positive thread lookin forward to a very good addition to your vehicle and you can't even support the thought. It's a damn shame.

im thinking that would strongly oppose the 2008 turbo balt thing that is going around, why would they make more kits for cars that will be revamped only 2 or 3 months down the road?

one of the bigger reasons why the lsj is supercharged is when the grand prixs wernt selling, so they stopped making so many supercharged ones...so there was a ton of blowers sitting around.

I think Chevy wanted to turbo the RL and SS/SC from the get go...**** the motor is already in turbo form...think about it for a couple seconds...

Woah im not in the least bashing it. And calling me a SRT-4 hater is beyond your power, i do have a SS supercharged in my family tree so knock that **** REAL QUICK.

The reasons i said what i said is because if that wanted to do something they would label it Stage 3 R or something along them lines. But hey say what you will i like my neon and i like the cobalt. SUE ME

dude thats the most stupid thing i have read on here in a long ass time. the blower on the GP's is not even the same as the ones on the cobalt. GP's are M92 CSS are M62's. and no they didnt stop making so many of them in fact they are probably making more of them now that the GP GT is blown and the GTP is no longer made.

and technically no the cobalt ss is not in turbo form, do you have any idea of how much different the piping is on a blown car than a turbo'd car? you gonna use the current ss/sc manifold on a turbo car? how about the exhaust manifold? what about the intake piping? please do not act like you know something when you have no idea

ok genius do you even know what GM's SS package historically related to? hint hint: it was not performance, and even if it were the ss cobalt outruns the majority of the ss models chevy has ever made stock for stock
