Just got my GMPP Performance Exhaust the other day and now I'm waiting for my next paycheck so I can get a tip for it. As I'm sure you all know there's only the two from GMPP (straight and angled cuts), but I just wanted to see pics of each one on other people's cars to try to get an idea for which one I was going to get. I like em both, but I might be leaning towards the angled cut. Thanks guys

I have the angled myself, looks great. I have a thread over in 2.0 performance with pictures of the install.

 

mine is coming with the angled tip on tuesday.

Yeah, we need more pics, but I like the straight cut because it looks closer to stock, it looks so clean, and also you would expect a pipe to end straight. The angled cut might look "good" cause it is unusual.

Maybe you should consider another type of tip, there are many tips on the market. Check Jegs .com for a good selection.

Personally, I would like to keep it all Chevy, but for the price of of the Chevy tips you could get a really good tip some where else.

 

Yea I feel the same way. I really want to keep it Chevy, but I might wind up going with something else 'cause of the price

 

ya the price was outrageous, so i had a magnaflow one welded on for cheap. Personally i would say just go with the gmpp one. for some reason the gmpp sport exhaust doesn't sit up high enough for me kinda sags and it looks like the gmpp tip fixes that.
