Does anyone know if a GMPP filter of other type of conical filter will fit directly into the stock 2.2/2.4 airbox while allowing the top of the airbox to be closed. I ask because I was looking at an old LewiSS' Installing the GMPP intake thread and I noticed that the way the GMPP intake is designed, its almost certain that the GMPP filter will fit right into the stock airbox, however I'm not sure if you would still be able to seal the top of the stock airbox with the conical filter inside.
