Going keyless baby!!!!!
Really? So first and foremost, why are you using a viper? Second, what 40 wires did you hook up? Third, what bypass are you going to use to get past CANbus? Fourth, you realize none of the wires that actually start your car are anywhere near your lock cylinder itself. You're going to **** up your car. Take it to somebody who knows what the hell they're doing.
ps...viper alarm was free, and no, it dident have 40 wires, I was just exagurating, but there was a lot for all the ignition and power **** (locks). Works fine, no problems.
not even gunna reply...i get the kit in a couple days, if i **** it up, Ill let ya know, when its all done and works, ill let ya know...reguardless, ill post up my results.

lol...nobody has hope no more these days....As for the viper, i had everything hooked up to one fob (remote start, alarm, locks) i still have my factory fob, but i only wanted one...as for the Keyless ignition, this sholdent be too much of an issue. i did call the company and explained the whole deal, they had the same system on a newer vette. They replaced the whole ignition tho. Worst case is if the bypass way doesent work out, or im not satisfied, ya ill take it somewhere to have the whole system redone, but the bypass they told me uses the stock ignition, and a couple shortcuts for the chipped key. so imi not just gunna jump into something wild and crazy..but if it comes to that, ya my ass is in the shop.
